After years of failed attempts to launch an interactive website, here I go . . .

Hopefully this site will allow you to view recent works and, possibly, to understand why I do what I do.

Reviews of exhibitions I have attended; Techniques/tips on Encaustic/Assemblage art; References of books/websites from which I deem valuable; and Travel Notes.

I am looking forward to feedback (whether constructive or destructive) and a sharing of the minds from creative folks or from creative appreciators!

in the studio . . . working on the completion of COPING SKILLS, an installation for TAKE CARE, THE ART & SCIENCE OF MOTHERHOOD, opening March 8, 2008 at Cheekwood Museum of Art . . .

Shelf one of altar is completed . . . just building another narrower shelf and the legs . . . the finished product will be based on this Votive Candle Altar Table from Sienna, Italy . . .

As I am a beginner to page/blog upkeep, please forgive my blunders . . . I've probably made thousands of mistakes already - but succeeding takes failing!
